Obtaining exceptional ocular surface outcomes can be challenging unless both you and the patient understand the effects that systemic and behavioral contributions have on ocular inflammation. This book has been a game changer in my practice! It has created that understanding, but more so a partnership with my patient. We are a team working together to achieve the best outcome. Now when a flare occurs, the patient usually presents with their own explanation as to why it's happening, as opposed to being frustrated that the problem is not "cured."
